All our sessions are online. We minimize the cost of your commitment to therapy is purely the one to one time you want.

For clients new to therapy or for first timers to lighthouse counselling, we recommend booking a free introductory meeting. This free 15 minute conversation we help both you and our counselors assess whether this will be a mutually beneficial fit. Therapy can be a daunting commitment, we want you to feel assured that you are able to step through with confidence and the right support.

For clients ready to commit to the process of shaping a better you, we recommend being able to commit to a minimum of 3 months with a meeting once a week.

Our standard sessions last 50 minutes. When starting out with Lighthouse counselling we will also discuss a contract of commitment to benefit both yourself and our counsellors.

  • Grief & Loss – I support you through different types of losses, helping you navigate emotions and find a path to healing.

 How I work as an integrative counsellor

I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, drawing from various therapeutic models to provide the best support. Here’s how I incorporate different approaches:

  • I help clients explore unconscious patterns, past experiences, and childhood influences that shape their present emotions and relationships. This deep insight fosters self-awareness and long-term change.

  • Through free association and exploring unconscious thoughts, I support clients in uncovering deep-seated emotions, unresolved conflicts, and recurring patterns that may impact their well-being.

  • I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic space where clients feel heard and valued. By fostering self-acceptance, personal growth naturally emerges at the client’s own pace.

  • I work collaboratively to identify negative thought patterns and behaviours, helping clients develop practical strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and everyday challenges effectively.

  • I guide clients in understanding and harmonizing their inner ‘parts,’ promoting self-compassion and healing by addressing internal conflicts and past wounds.

  • Rather than dwelling on problems, I help clients identify strengths and build on what’s already working to create meaningful, achievable solutions for their future.

  • By exploring relationships, attachment styles, and interpersonal dynamics, I support clients in developing deeper connections, improving communication, and fostering healthier relationships.
